How to contact SDG&E: call the toll free number below to speak to a real customer support agent. Get help with your account, report power out, bill pay, etc. When you call, you will be asked the questions below.

- For gas leaks or down power lines, press 1 or say ‘Emergency’.
- For power outages, press 2 or say ‘Power Outages’.
- For Billing and Payment matters, press 3 or say ‘Billing’.
- For account balance, press 1.
- If you need more time to pay your bill, press 2.
- To pay now with a credit or debit card, press 3.
- If your bill is higher than normal or to manage your bill, press 4.
- To learn about other payment options, or something else, press 5.
- To hear these options again, press 7.
- To return to the Main Menu, press the Star key.
- To start, stop, or reconnect service or for fumigation, press 4 or say, ‘Change Service’.
- To open a new account or transfer your service, press 1.
- To stop service and close your account, press 2.
- To reconnect service that has been disconnected due to nonpayment, press 3.
- To turn on your gas meter and appliances after a fumigation service, press 4.
- To temporarily turn off your gas meter for a fumigation service, press 5.
- To hear these options again, press 7.
- To return to the Main Menu, press the Star key.
- For time of use pricing plans, press 5 or say, ‘Pricing Plan’.
- For something else, press 6, or say ‘Something else’.
- To schedule an order for your gas furnace or other gas appliances, press 1.
- To see if you qualify for a discount on your utility bill, press 2.
- For shoulder information, press 3.
- For electric vehicle information, press 4.
- For information on rebates, press 5.
- To hear these options again, press 7.
- To return to the Main Menu, press the Star key.
- To hear these options again, press 7 or say ‘Repeat’.
